We are a week-ish away from the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival and the vineyard continues to grow, preparing to become #NCWine.  Crista and I are finishing our first shoot thinning in time for Mother’s Day and next week’s rain.

We are looking forward to our first festival as part of the Yadkin Valley Wine industry.  Last week we noticed that we were beginning to get visits to our website from the Yadkin Valley Tour de Vino website.  We realized that four of the five routes will be passing Golden Road Vineyards!  Proceeds from Tour de Vino go to the Elkin Valley Trails.  We decided to sponsor the event and will be cheering on participants as they pass the vineyard and will see you at the finish line / Yadkin Valley Wine Festival!

After the Mt. Airy Bud Break Festival last weekend, we’re going to enjoy ourselves at the wine festival sampling the best wines North Carolina has to offer.
