Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend a Canopy Management Workshop at Surry Community College. It was a great opportunity to reinforce our understanding of canopy management practices as we are entering the growing season. The workshop was split between lecture and practical application in the Surry Cellar’s vineyard where we were able to spend an hour shoot thinning the Cabernet Franc after a demo.

The workshop was very much worthwhile and we look forward to attending the Crop Estimation Workshop in June.
