Our first year running the vineyard has already been a busy one. We started pruning a little later than we will in the future but are on track to be done in the next ten days. Three Nor’easters have slowed down the process a bit and resulted in a lot more snow than we expected moving to the Carolinas. On a positive note, the snow has also made for some beautiful vineyard pictures. Pruning is complete for four out of the five blocks with just the Tannat remaining. A huge thank you to the family, friends, neighbors, and crew who have helped get the vineyard ready for this year’s growing season!!
